Breakfast Morning

Well the breakfast morning has been done – we had a great turn out of people who helped out and who sponsored some of the food – above all we had a huge amount of people who turned up in the space of three  and a half hours to have their breakfasts served.

Breakfast Fundraiser -update

Just over a week now to our Breakfast Fundraiser – tickets are selling well and we have almost everything ready to go. May 1st will be a big day for us – but not just for us, for the town. The same day Mostrim Players will be putting on a pageant in the town  – a 1916 re-enactment. Work has been ongoing for the past few weeks and they too are finalising their day’s activities. below are some photos from a recent rehearsal

Breakfast Fundraiser

Join us for our breakfast morning fundraiser on Sunday May 1st from 9.00am to 12.30 pm. Tickets on sale now price €10. Location Edgeworthstown Community Centre and afterwards why not attend the 1916 Re-enactment

Strictly Fundraiser

Over the past couple of months our chairman Tom Victory, along with 25 other local people, prepared and rehearsed their dances for a Strictly Come Dancing Fundraiser. The Fundraiser was in aid of Longford Palliative Care and Community Games. During the weekend of 18th to 20th September Tom and his dance partner Mary Killane performed before packed houses in the Parkhouse Hotel. The event was a great credit to all the organisers (chiefly the Doherty family, doing in honour of their late father Neddie), the dancers and all involved.
