Historical Panels Update

Well they are finally up – an eighty foot long slice of Edgeworthstown history on a wall in the middle of the town. I think it’s something very unique and I think Matt Farrell of Edgeworthstown Town Development deserves great credit for thinking of the idea and I am going to blow my own trumpet here in that I did the design and graphics. The Historical Society, Tom Dooley and Angela Kingston helped with the research.

  1. Well done to all concerned a wonderful idea and very nice to have the history showing for all to read.
My down point is the gray wall I don’t think it gives credit to the historical panels, I think a terracotta colour under them would make them stand out much better and perhaps some flood lighting above them.
Otherwise really lovely to see them in the centre of the town, keep the good work going.
